Fat aroma of aroma hops and overripe fruit. Medium body with lightly sweet caramel accents and plenty of fruit - peach in particular. Lightly hoppy finish. 051007 yespr (12184), Copenhagen O, Denmark
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 6, 2007 12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy orange with a white head. Citrus fruity aroma. Decent strong blend between malt sweetness and citrus-fruity aroma hops. Slight berry note too. Has a slight blend of spiced/herbal/liqourice notes in the finish. clingman71 (254), Centerville, Ohio, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 5, 2007 Bottle. Pours a very hazy golden with a thick off-white head, but quick dissipation. It looks more like an unfiltered wheat beer than an American IPA. It has a nice hoppy aroma, but not enough of it. There is nothing particularly wrong with this beer, but nothing great either. If it were labeled an APA, I would thing better of it, but I have higher expectations for an IPA. merlin48 (516), New Tazewell, Tennessee, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 5, 2007 Bottle pours ahazy apricot body with a small offwhite head. Scanty spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is subdued, with caramel and grapefruit and grassy hints. Taste is unremarkable, with a caramel malt backbone and some citrusy and hay like bitter hops. Solid enough, but pedestrian. thehinge (245), Wilmington, Delaware, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 2, 2007 Amber with small off hite head. Aroma is citrusy and hoppy with a little pine. Starts off malty with a nice bitter presence at the finish. Simple and effective IPA. troopie (886), USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 30, 2007 Bottle. Poured golden red with foamy white head. Slight hoppy aroma with floral graces. Hoppy flavour with floral and honey notes. Linfering hoppy finish all over the tongue. This is another ale I would call a Cape ale. It’s hoppier and more bitter than a pale or amber, but not as hoppy as an India. A very worthy effort, worth seeking out. mtoast (298), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 18, 2007 12oz Bottle, orally injected 9/16/07. Pours a hazy golden color with quick dying foam and almost no lacing. Aroma is a very confused mix of hops, perhaps more is not better guys. Flavor is even more confused, hopppy just for the sake of being hoppy, very little flavor, just bitterness with some faint malts. Only slightly better than average IPA
