Hoppy flavour with floral and honey notes. Linfering hoppy finish all over the tongue. This is another ale I would call a Cape ale. It’s hoppier and more bitter than a pale or amber, but not as hoppy as an India. A very worthy effort, worth seeking out. mtoast (312), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 18, 2007 12oz Bottle, orally injected 9/16/07. Pours a hazy golden color with quick dying foam and almost no lacing. Aroma is a very confused mix of hops, perhaps more is not better guys. Flavor is even more confused, hopppy just for the sake of being hoppy, very little flavor, just bitterness with some faint malts. Only slightly better than average IPA DYCSoccer17 (2201), Davis, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 15, 2007 12 ounce bottle. Sugary, sweet, husky, malty aroma. A weird sourness is also present. This just doesn’t smell right. Moderately hazy orange-colored body with a medium off-white head. Floral, orange-citrus hopped start. Sweet, sugary maltiness is present in the middle. Tastes like crystal malts. Finishes with a bit of an alcohol burn and more floral herbal hops. Ty5592 (1015), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours dark gold with some chill haze that clears as the beer warms up, and a fluffy, lacy off-white head. Thin aroma of citrus. The aroma also improves as the beer warms. Light body and carbonation. Taste of bread and oranges. Grapefruit bitter finish with a touch of astringency and sourness. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 26, 2007 Hazy dark orange with a ton of sediment floating around when held up to the light. It has a small white head. Sweet earthy malt aroma with some peppery and citrus hops. Flavor is fruity. Not really very bitter. It has some notes of tangerine and ruby red grapefruit as well as some caramel malt. Not what I enjoy from and IPA, but it does have some nice fruit flavor. Mouthfeel is mild. No residual sugars or hoppy resins.
