Commercial Description:
This is the second offering in our JAMAICA line of ales. We didn't want to make another IPA like everybody else so we opted for our own style. Unfortunately the gang at the BATF wouldn't let us use "West Indies" on the label stating that there is no such place. We all thought that Columbus was looking for the West Indies and ended up here by mistake. Oh well. We call this beer Jamaica Sunset because of its golden reddish hue. We use five different hops for aroma, bitterness and floral character. You get a crisp clean flavor and complex hop finish.

Draft. Amber color with an off-white head. Grapefruit aroma. Balanced flavor of grapefruit, malt sweetness, some pine tar. Easy drinking.

Hazy, pale golden color, nice, flush white head, stalwart, slowly, but surely diminishing, ...Aroma: spicy, citric, hoppy nose, pungent garpefrit, and peach pits, orange zest, and pineapple pulp, a little sour, and very tangy. very lively. Those flavors return in the taste, but are accompanied by a huge sourness, an outsized citric twist on the palate, a little too unlean for me. Medium-bodied, with a big blast on first entry, a rounded fruity flavor, then thinning some, but not losing any of the bitterness. It rides long and zestily in the mouth, before eventually fading away. Long, fruity, bitter finish. Very likable, this one, milder in the hop delivery than I like in my IPAs, but you can’t please everyone. This ought to please plenty of folks just fine, and, heck, I like it a bit, too!

Bright golden-orange body, lighter than most IPAs, with a heavy fine misty particle load and a massive foamy white head that slowly faded. Aroma is of orange citrus and spicy pepper. Flavor is dry and moderately bitter with a hot note of alcohol and some light esters detectable. Has a sodium bicarbonate quality flavor as well. Flavor profile oddly suggests a poor tripel.

Hazy golden color, off white head. Citrusy hops take the stage with some lighter malt in a supporting role. Medium bodied, slightly dry. Not too shabby.

Bottle Pours a hazy light golden color with a very large fluffy off-white head. A strange fruity aroma, with notes of apricots orange and pineapple. Falvorsa re much of the same. Orange, pineapple, and the hops though not very biter for an IPA. Sublte, easy and just OK. Palate is a nice smooth feel and the finish is slightly bitter hop bite.

golden honey colored hazy pour with a tall sticky off white head. Subdued aroma of malt with just a bit of spicy hops. The flavor is slightly bitter with a trace of sourness. Nothing too extreme though, more of a Pale Ale than an IPA. Not bad, but a bit tame. A good one if you aren’t really into the hop monster IPAs.

Quick hop sour yeast aromanice head, fine light hop taste with a slight malt finish. Not much bitterness. Malt becomes more prevalant in middle. Would make a nice IPA for the beginner.

This pours a hazy golden color with the slightest of heads. It’s got an interesting hoppy aroma of roses and bitter sliced oranges. Very easy to drink with a hint of malts and a good heaping of the aforementioned hops. Pretty clean finish with only a minor bitter aftertase.
