| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 20, 2004 I tryed this one at a bevmo tasting, it was a little warm, so that may have changed the flavor. I thought this beer could be more hoppier, it was a bit bland, it was easy to drink, but thats not what I usually do with an IPA, I usually take my time with it. An ok beer, but it could be much better SG (456), San Clemente, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 8, 2004 Cloudy yellow/gold. The nose is spicy like a hefe but has a good hop presence. Hop bitterness is there, with a tad too much carbonation. Effervescent. Slightly weird yeast flavor for the style. Citrusy/lemon notes. Drinkable, but a little strange (in a not so great kind of way). Average. jasonp (1514), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 6, 2004 Pours a cloudy gold with lotsa floating particles and a quickly disappearing head. Nose is citrus and hops. Taste follows with prominent notes of grapefruit and citrusy hop character. Didn’t pick up any pine or resin. Very sweet maltiness with somewhat of a metallic, harsh bitter aftertaste. Mouthfeel is full and round but it had too much carbonation IMO. Good lacework. Not bad but I wouldn’t seek it out again. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 6, 2004 I think this is an okay IPA, the initial impression is great (except for that terrible bottle logo) ... good aroma, when it first hits your tongue, there’s pure excitement as the hops dance ... for all of two seconds though. The beer in the after-taste falls flat on its face, which leaves me with some significant disappointment. ¾ (5009), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 9, 2004 Quite a smooth palate, fruity orange and creamy sweet honey and pine flavor. Near the finish the crisp presence of hops is shown, nice, light but full of flavor. Crisp. Sweet fuesal pine hop nose. motelpogo (4399), Plzen, Czech Republic
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 8, 2004 bottled. not the most exciting beer. some muted pine and grapefruit in the aroma, bland biscuit flavour and moderate citric bitterness. average NeonLX (258), Wisconsin, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 4, 2004 From a bottle, the beer pours a slightly cloudy, orangish golden hue. Initial fine, white head that settles down quickly. Aroma is quite floral. Medium body with full carbonation. There’s a vaguely sweet, malty undertone in the firstl taste. Hops aren’t overpowering but still very evident. Nice hot-weather beer.
