Commercial Description:
This is the second offering in our JAMAICA line of ales. We didn't want to make another IPA like everybody else so we opted for our own style. Unfortunately the gang at the BATF wouldn't let us use "West Indies" on the label stating that there is no such place. We all thought that Columbus was looking for the West Indies and ended up here by mistake. Oh well. We call this beer Jamaica Sunset because of its golden reddish hue. We use five different hops for aroma, bitterness and floral character. You get a crisp clean flavor and complex hop finish.

I was very surprised of the very different taste of this one. Very floral aroma with somewhat a citrus/pineapple flavor finished by a mild bitter taste. Perfect for a summer evening.

Slight floral hopnose, pours a cloudy golden color with some head and minimal lacing. Nice apricot fruit flavors with a good hop zest. Very bubbly and tingly with a refreshing hop aftertaste. Sort of light for an IPA, but so what. I like it.

hoppy, sweet smell. Good flavor. What's this no bitter after taste. A truely unique IPA. Good but different.

This is a personal favorite of mine. This isn't like most IPA's out there and probably not liked as an IPA by most people. This is a very fruity IPA. Not bitter nearly as bitter as most. A very smoothe beer. Great for a hot summer night. This is certainly in my top 10

Interesting IPA, with a difference. Plenty of malt as well as bottle conditioned heavy yeastiness. Sweet pineapple fruitiness, light biscuity malt. Hop bitterness adds quite a bit of citrus in the finish, enforcing itself in the aftertaste. Complex and original.

Bottle. A hazy medium golden orange color with a white head. A vibrant grassy hop and citrus aroma and flavor. Ahh, the beauty of the IPA, IMHO.

The whole feel of this beer has summer written all over it. The label has that tropical island/Reggae feel. The beer is the color of sunshine and finishes clean. This is a laid back, "summer IPA brew" to sip in the sun. If you want something more complex look elsewhere.
