Pours a cloudy orange/amber with a small finger of white head. Very bold aroma of citrus, pine, sweet caramel malts, and a touch of booze. Extremely well balanced hoppy pine bitterness and sweet apricots - not quite as strongly flavored as the nose lets on. Medium, sticky palate and a bit warming. Not quite there in the hop bite department - but pretty dang good and well worth another go.

Jan 7, 2009 Poured a amber orange with a thin white head. Aroma of citrus, hops and pine. Taste was pretty sweet and the hops didn’t jump out me like I typically expect from an IPA. Decent carbonation. Not a bad beer but not the best IPA I have had - more along the lines of a Pale Ale to me.

Dec 23, 2008 12oz bottle-pours a rich offwhite head with amber color. Aroma is mild pine/floral/some citrus hops then medium malt in background. Taste is medim malt-caramel/brown sugar, pine/floral/some citrus hops. Medium body. Thanks jwc215 for sharing this.

Dec 21, 2008 Orangey Amber color, lemony orange pine smell. rather floral and mildly filtered if I remember correctly. Much citrus shows through.

Dec 21, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a few bubbles floating around the surface, but no other head to speak of. Aromas of apple juice, floral hops and lemon. Flavor is a crisp combination of lemon peels and pine.

Nov 20, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a golden yellow with a thin, off-white head. Pleasant citrus-hop aroma. A hoppy, sweet beer with a dry finish. Surprisingly good for a beer whose six pack costs about the same as Budweiser.
