| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Mar 22, 2009 This poured a cloudy brown color with an off white head. Aroma was dark fruits caramel and lots of alcohol. Flavor is very sweet, a bit fruity but the alcohol is just like a punch in the mouth, this needs to mellow out a bit. timfoolery (484), California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 22, 2009 Huge alcohol burn to this one. I imagine it needs to be aged quite a bit to smooth itself out. Noticable hops and some maltiness to boot. Not great for the style. rmussman (905), California, USA

Full bodied, thick and creamy. The alcohol is well hidden, only coming through a bit in the after taste. Dark roasted flavor with some fruity sweetness. Nothing complex in the flavor, but it is very drinkable.
