| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 7, 2008 Updated: Aug 24, 2008Bottle purchased from 99 Bottles in Santa Cruz. Poured into a pint glass. On the pale end of the DIPA color spectrum, with a gorgeous fluffy white head. Modest lacing but excellent retention. Aroma is grapefruit-dominated and somewhat sweet. Flavor has a mild crystal malt basis that gets trampled by citrus hops. Pleasant even bitterness through the finish. Lacking in flavorful maltiness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and nicely carbonated. Pretty drinkable. DubC5000 (202), San Diego, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 6, 2008 Ridiculously hoppy but pleasantly flowery. Numbers among the most boldly flavored double IPAs I’ve ever had. Remarkably smooth mouthfeel for a brew this bitter. Guinness4Duff (507), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 2, 2008 Cloudy, light copper with almost no head. Strongy hoppy aroma of pine, flowers, apricot/citrus. Not as bitter as it smells, but extremely well balanced hoppy citrus bite with a smooth/tasty malt palate. Some cloudy yeast sediment at the bottom. Definitely a heckuva beer worth another go. LiebeBier (793), Annapolis, Maryland, USA
