Bottle. Cloudy caramel amber color. There’s fluffy inch of head in my Unibroue tulip. Nice sticky lacing. Aroma is smooth and safe. Watery hops. Apples and some citrus. Flavor is a bushel of hops with some ripe, crisp apples thrown in for good measure, with a slight tinge of banana. Very smooth, extremely drinkable. Incredible masking of the 8.6%.

Pours a cloudy dark orange to near-tan. Big lacing head. Has a pine flower aroma and a nice frothy head from a decisive pour. What surprised me, was the amount of toasty malt flavor on the initial flavor. Bravo. This IPA has malt balls Finish is a bit astringent and metallic.

Bottle... Murky orange ale with thousands of white floaties tooling around the inside of the glass. Small, creamy, off-white head that is decently retained. Fruity, malty aroma delivers big notes of citrus, fuzzy and tropical fruits caramel, toffee and praline. Full-bodied and chewy with moderate carbonation. Robust caramel sweetness balanced nicely by a ballsy bitterness. Alcohol is detectable, but not overbearing. Caramelly, bittersweet finish. Kudos to scraff for shipping this bottle down from Baltimore!

The aroma of this beer was a sprucy outdoors like smell, its color was golden brown, cloudy, and reminded me of a pure apple cider. When poured it had a minimal head, that seemed to stay with it. The taste was smooth and full flavored with a good hoppiness and yet a hint of the malt uded to kick it up a notch. This is a very good and drinkable beer.

12 oz bottle from beerworld of Largo, FL. Hazy deep orange in color. Aroma: Moderately hoppy with citrus and light pine, alot of caramelized malt. Taste is moderately hoppy with citrus and a light to moderate piney bitterness throughtout. This is skewed more towards malt (probably because of it’s age) with alot of pale and caramelized malt sweetness. Finishes lightly bitter with a caramelized sweetness across the tongue. Definitely not fresh, but has aged pretty well and no flaws detected.

A good solid beer. Worth trying. Pours a hazy orangish amber that looks nice in the glass with little to no head. The little head there is disappears very fast but leaves noticable lacing. Smell is citrus with hints of various fruits and pine. The taste is lacking the complexity of some of the better IPA’s such as Great Divide or Dogfish but you can still taste notes of citrus and that strong hop bite, Leaves a bit of a metallic aftertaste that fades to an almost piney citrus note.
