Flavor was a nice blend of citrus hops and caramel malts, with a clean finish. An easy drinking double IPA. Pailhead (2609), Allen Park, Michigan, USA

Bottle: The aroma has moderate caramel, light oxidation, and a hint of fruit. It pours a hazy amber with a small white. The flavor starts with lots of caramel. The finish has aged citrus hops and light oxidation. Medium-bodied with light carbonation and a soft mouthfeel. Clearly not a fresh sample, but still decent. Hoss (602), Florida, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 27, 2007 Hazy orange pour under a fleeting head of white.
Juicy malt aroma with good supportive citrus hops.
The flavor follows the aroma, good body, sweet with a solid underlying bitterness.
The alcohol is well hidden in this tasty brew. BückDich (4857), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 26, 2007 Bottle: Hazy bronze copper color, thin head with some lacing. Nose of salty grapefruit and pine notes. Some starchy citrus and creamy pale malt in the flavor. Robust mouthfeel and sizeable body. Catty sagebrush and caramel soda notes in the tail. Nice double IPA, to the point, quaffable, nice body. Good. greenleaf (90), Florida, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 1/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Dec 17, 2007 Bottle. Pours mild orange with a small white head. Aroma is citrus and expiring fruit. No lacing in the tulip. The hoppy nature of this double is masked by a cidery taste with a rounded aftertaste. Interesting, but not your usual double IPA. I would sample again. malrubius (1004), Valley Stream, New York, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 14, 2007 12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Hazy yellow orange with dense flat white head and some lace. Mild lemon cookie aroma. Fairly complex flavors, but hard to describe, besides the mild bitter lemony finish. Maybe a little rotting peaches, but in an enjoyable way. Something very California about the flavor. Wish I could identify. Anyhow, medium-full body and medium-low carbo. Very enjoyable. I did not have high expectations for some reason, but I like it. 00cobraR (1098), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA

Pours out a coppery color with nearly no head to speak of. aroma was malty and sweet with a slight bit of hops to it. flavor was very sweet and malty. where are the hops? had a rather strange after taste. this beer was not very enjoyable.
