Bottle. Thanks to cbkschubert for sending me this one. Pours a pale golden amber body with decent size head. mild aroma - hoppy, caramel - nothing really standing out. Flavor is a hoppy mess of a IIPA, lightly bitter with a big syrupy caramel taste. Decent mouthfeel. Was not the hoppy citrusy IPA I was hoping for. Enjoyable but a failed attempt at a IIPA.

(12oz bottle) Particulate-filled topped by a medium off-white head. Aroma is fairly tame, medium sweet, grapefruit/pine. Taste is sweet, fruity, grapefruit/floral/orange, some caramel, light alcohol. Resiny medium-full body.

Delicious!!! I haven’t had a IIPA in such a long time. It is sweaty hot out and it fits the mood perfectly. Got this beer in December and it’s still projects aroma. Very american hop aroma, sweet malt, orange, and toffee. Appearance is nice red/burnt-orange with creamy white head, but a little too hazy. Flavor is sweet malt, nice strong bitterness, a little banana, clove, and well hidden alc. flavor. Very appropiate full body. Overall a very well balanced, distinct double i.

Bottle from Total Wine. Wow, this was an outstanding Double IPA. Poured a copper color with a small white head. Aroma of floral hops, some citrus as well. Taste was slightly bitter, citrus fruits and malts. Alcohol was non existent. This will get you drunk.

Bottle. Ahhh finally a decent 2IPA. Been a while since I’ve found a nice hop-bomb that was done properly. This is a chinook and cascade heavy beer that is dry as sandpaper but fullbodied enough to make that okay. Decent looking too, clear and orange. Lots of smiles while drinking this one.

Bottle in trade from Jimbowood. Thanks Jimbo. Pours a cloudy dark copper color with a small lasting off white head. Aroma is of citrus hops with a bit of sweet malt. The flavor is much of the same with the citrus hops balanced nicely with the sweet malts. The bitterness in the aftertaste is long lasting. The 8.6% is fairly well hidden. Enjoyable.

Bottle in trade with padrefan98. Mostly clear copper color with thick off-white head. Decent mild grapefruit aroma with some biscuity notes. Not real hoppy for a DIPA, but the grapefruit rind tastes that are there are nice. Just a decent DIPA, but if the aromas and flavors that are there were intensified, it’d be a damn good brew.

Good, caramel malty flavor. Kinda fruity. Watch out, the alcohol content will really sneak up on you.
