zach8270 (1526), Henrietta, New York, USA Jan 6, 2009 (bottle - 12 oz) Clear orange color with about an eighth of an inch of white foam. Good carbonation. Aroma is sweet and floral with some hints of caramel and a lot of citrus and pine. Flavor is sweet and very floral with a lot of hops, pine, citrus, caramel, and some other unidentifiable sweetness. Finishes clean and smooth. Alcohol is very well hidden. nqualls (633), Tennessee, USA Jan 2, 2009 12 oz bottle. Poured a clear orange/gold color with a very thin, almost non-existent, off white head. Aroma of caramel and pine. Flavor of caramel and slight bit of grapefruit in the finish. This is a decent IIPA, but nothing to write home about. Dorwart (1678), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA Dec 29, 2008 Decent sized off-white head of fine bubbles. Minimal carbonation. Sweet caramel malt aroma, iced tea, roasted grains and a bit of bitterness. Slightly cloudy dark amber. Malty and bitter flavor with some more caramel and toffee. Some piney hops and grapefruit pith. Noticable alcohol content. Finishes bitter and a bit dry. A pretty good IIPA but nothing that really set it above the rest.
