A bit higher abv than I like for a session beer, not enough flavor to hold its own though compared to APA competition. radagast83 (1302), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 26, 2008 Bottle. A decent APA, not great but decent. I seem to recall it pouring a amber/golden color. Aroma is floral hops with malts. Finishes with a slight bitterness. tunneler (113), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Jan 20, 2008 grainy sour yeast mixes with a bit of hops on the aroma here. not much character at all through the middle and to the end, leaving an unpleasant funk taste. surprisingly poor. junon (221), Honolulu, Hawaii, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 17, 2008 Updated: Jan 18, 2008Nice! This thing poured much like a GOOD German Hefeweizen. I have never seen a beer with so much sediment(good stuff). Aroma is explosive at first but fades to subtle. Smells like an Oktoberfest to be honest. Has a warming Winter Ale taste. Its just very smooth. Perfect alc% I think any more and it would be ruined. This beer had me excited from the start and all the way through. Another great American contribution. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 16, 2008 Today your APA better be pretty kick ass, there is no room for average and this is just too middle of the road. Drinkable. Dorwart (1814), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA

Light fruity nose with some peaches, floral hops and some malts. Slightly hazy medium golden orange in color. Dry and crisp flavor. Light malts and crisp hops. Some floral and grainy notes. Finishes dry and with a mild bitterness. A decent pale ale.
