Slight haze in an otherwise ubiquitous pale yellow appearing brew. Decent carbonation. Finish is not quite IPA but it is certainly irritating. truegen (164), Puyallup, Washington, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 22, 2007 Sampled both bottle and tap. Opaque gold in color, fairly active head that fades quickly. To me, extra pale is generally code for "we’re trying to snare Bud drinkers." This beer went beyond that, however. It might snare a few mass market consumers, but it really stands on its own with a fairly assertive maltiness and a noticeable (though restrained) hop profile. It was a little sweet for my taste, but it’s a drinkable brew. patrick767 (2033), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 17, 2007 bottle - Pours hazy yellow with some yeast floaters and a thin white head. It has a very mild aroma. I was mostly getting light malt. The flavor is also light and fairly sweet with some mild hops character. It’s low on the hops for an American pale. Quite drinkable, but unimpressive. howie (549), DeForest, Wisconsin, USA
