Commercial Description:
The original Extra Pale Ale, this is the one that started it all. Our first brew was introduced in 1989 in Golden Gate style kegs. We have stayed true to our beginnings and still brew it the way we did back then. A bright golden hued ale with a medium body and a crisp spicy /floral hop character and very mild bitterness. This unfiltered ale has a pleasing mouth feel and remains our most popular brew. This beer goes with everything and every occasion.

It’s a cloudy, light amber/orangey/yellowish color. Very nice smell, little hop notes, bitter/floral aroma. Very smooth, light hoppy taste. Very nice taste!

Tap @ Pizza Port Solana Beach. Hazy gold with a big white head. Floral, grassy nose. Crisp, hop flavor with white pepper, citrus, peach, and a very small amount of malt. Refreshing.

Very hoppy. Almost opaque gold. Very weak aroma, but the aroma was all hops like the taste.

Thanks to skyview for sharing. Cloudy lemonade yellow body with faint off-white head. Sweet caramel malt nose with similar flavor. Finish was a bit watery.

Another western brew from Skyview’s trip. Cloudy gold color with no head. Grassy hop aroma. A little more sweet tasting than bitter, but an adequate earthy hop prevents it from completely loosing itself. Not to shabby.

A very drinkable session pale ale. Moderate hops, some grass. Flavor has very light malt and light hop bitterness with an herbal quality.
