| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 13, 2007 Malty, slightly floral, pearish aroma. Slightly foggy, very light gold, lacing head, fair label, California potato masher bottle, appearance dings for the twist-off. Buttery, finessed west coast hopping, slightly briny. FInish is a bit flaccid, mouthfeel is a bit starchy, but the aftertaste doesn’t cling. Overall, this is very drinkable and it’s got a distinctive taste. Warming. This would be a really good baked ham marinade or baste, there’s already baked pineapple esters.
