Commercial Description:
The original Extra Pale Ale, this is the one that started it all. Our first brew was introduced in 1989 in Golden Gate style kegs. We have stayed true to our beginnings and still brew it the way we did back then. A bright golden hued ale with a medium body and a crisp spicy /floral hop character and very mild bitterness. This unfiltered ale has a pleasing mouth feel and remains our most popular brew. This beer goes with everything and every occasion.

A hazy light yellow beer with a dense white head. The aroma is sweet with a good hop profile including notes of citrus. The flavor is sweet malty with some hops - but too thin bodied and flavored for really being good.

Mediocre pale ale , not particularly dry and hoppy or bitter. Bland watery chalky note. Unfiltered sludge stick to bottom of bottle give last end a off putting taste.

From a twist cap 12 oz. stubby brown bottle with a short blurb along the left side of the label, no freshness date. Poured a lightly hazy orangey golden with a foamy, frothy white head that settled into a thin sudsy lacing. Aromas of spicy floral hops with touches of citrus and a sweet caramel maltiness. Good carbonation and a crisp, dryish, smooth light bodied mouthfeel. Nice, easy drinkability due to balanced, smooth taste, sweet bready malts with hints of caramel and nutmeg, spicy floral hops that have a good soft bitterness, a light citric fruitiness as well, and a dry spicy and bready finish with a little nutmeg flavor lingering in the palate. I thought this was a tasty APA with a good balance between malts and hops.

Bottle ... evidently old judging by the jetsam. Pale orange with a thin head. Just a tease of an aroma, but a nice flavor that reminds me of fruit salad, very floral and rich. No bitterness or citrus here ... just sweet mango, orange, tangerine ...

I had this beer at Bridgeport Calif. at $10.00 a 6 pack!!! A good pale ale. Best served real cold. Goods hop and malt flavors with average head. Pleasing color and aroma. Could use a little more body as this beer is a little watery.

Bottle. Hazy golden color, slightly hoppy aroma with a little fruit and honey. Pretty bland and watery. Probably tastes a lot better by the pool.

Bottle sampled at Issac Newtons. Pours golden with a decent size white head. Aroma of citrus, fruit, and sweet malts. The flavor is citrusy, fruit, bready, and slightly bitter. Drinkable, but nothing great.

Bottled. Hazy pale yellow colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is lemony and orangish. Flavour is yeasty, fruity and has some hints of caramel. Watery, very watery.
