Commercial Description:
The original Extra Pale Ale, this is the one that started it all. Our first brew was introduced in 1989 in Golden Gate style kegs. We have stayed true to our beginnings and still brew it the way we did back then. A bright golden hued ale with a medium body and a crisp spicy /floral hop character and very mild bitterness. This unfiltered ale has a pleasing mouth feel and remains our most popular brew. This beer goes with everything and every occasion.

Tap at Isaac Newton’s. Golden, nice fluffy white head, slight chill haze. Hoppy American hop aromawith slight cooked vege and corn. Flavor has lots of sharp American Hops with a touch of malt. Decent enough and drinkable.

Grassy-hay aromas with orange juice hints; mild, rather malty, and smooth; citrus-hop juicy flavors without the bitterness; highly drinkable and unassuming

Golden brown with a thick white head. Fruity and floral hops in the aroma, notes of apricot and grapefruit. Faint malty sweetness, slight spicy hops. Crisp finish. Not overly flavorful but, drinkable.

Draft. You can get this ale over Eureka. Pours a golden apricot color with a thin head. Mild aroma, kind of a hint of malts and flowers. Very unique flavor...you would not mistake this for anything else. Low alcohol content means I can have two or three pints when I go out which is one of the reasons I drink this. It also tastes good. There are better brews on draft to be found in this town, but for three places I visit this is the top of the line brew they serve, so I drink quite a bit of it.

12 oz bottle. Smelled the hops even before the screw cap came completely off. Huge head, so much that 10 oz filled a 16 oz glass. Quite hazy, medium golden in color. More aroma than taste. Medium body. Interesting beer but more carbonated and stranger taste than I care for.

From the bottle this pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. Slightly hoppy with a thin light fruity malt body that hinted at floral peaches. Not overly flavorful but well balanced and some nice light citrus hops.

Very unusual stuff. I think I got an infected bottle. Light golden with a HUGE head. Aroma very pungent with lots of citrus; heavily fruity, maybe apple and pear. Flavor quite tart; light fruit; quite bitter finish; medicinal, slightly tongue-burning. Medium body. Weird.

Very soft and drinkable session beer. Clean and drying malt tones with a little earthy note. Vert lite bitterness and hints of floral citrus oils. Flavors drop off at midpalate.with an almost nonexistent finish.
