Commercial Description:
The original Extra Pale Ale, this is the one that started it all. Our first brew was introduced in 1989 in Golden Gate style kegs. We have stayed true to our beginnings and still brew it the way we did back then. A bright golden hued ale with a medium body and a crisp spicy /floral hop character and very mild bitterness. This unfiltered ale has a pleasing mouth feel and remains our most popular brew. This beer goes with everything and every occasion.

Good beer. Got it in a 64 ounce growler bottle. Its got a nice look to it, refreshing to drink, pretty good head retention. Its light on the hops. Very light but I’m a bitter fan. The flavor is good, definitely enjoy it though its nothing overly special.

Pours gold into a shaker. Bright white head leaves no lacing as it recedes to skim surface. Sour milk and biscuit aromas. Crisp with metallic bread upfront turning sweet in the finish.

Cloudy honey yellow color with no head. Minimal aroma of hops and bread. Flavor is mild-some bread, hops, floral..... Nothing impressive, but nothing offensive.

Hazy bright amber colored body with a light white head. The aroma has some nice sweet oranges and bread crust. There is also some almond. The taste has some orange peels and hay. There is also some light almond shell. Overall, an ok brew that is certainly on the hoppy end of any golden ales I have tried.

12 ounce bottle from the beer of the month club. Poured a light gold color with a half finger width white head and a decent amount of carbonation. The aroma was pretty bland with hints of citrus fruit, faint pine, and some hops. The taste was also bland and consisted of faint citrus hints, some pine, and a bit of malt. Overall, a very sessionable beer but does not contain anything exciting. Would be a good beer after mowing the lawn in the heat of the summer though...

APPEARANCE: Pours a hazy gold color with a large white head that dissipates at an average rate. Medium amount of lacing. SMELL: Orange blossom and light sweet doughy malts. Finishes with some light grassy hops. TASTE: Very similar to aroma, floral citrus with a malty backbone. Finishes with light peppery hops. MOUTHFEEL: Light to medium body with almost a creamy texture with soft carbonation. DRINKABILITY: This beer goes down super easy. This would be really nice on a hot summer day. Careful drinking this with any flavorful foods because the subtle flavors will be overpowered. NOTES: BBCSD-0812-Tim

Bottle. Pours a light golden straw body with a white head. Light sticky malt body and some fruity esters. Citrus, floral hoppiness and a light pine hoppy bitterness.
