| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 8, 2008 Pretty dissapointing. Weak and not very flavorful. Tasted more like an amber than an APA. Caramel malty flavor with weak hops. Lightly watery finish. Not bitter or sweet. Kind of fizzy and peppery. Sparky27 (1596), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 1, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy honey color with one finger off-white head and spotty lacing. Nose is light floral hops, sweet malt and grass. Taste is pretty much the same – sweet malt dominates until finishing with a light hop aftertaste. Medium mouth feel. I guess the “extra” part meant they took extra care in removing the hop profile. Average. esjaygee (1531), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
