Commercial Description:
The original Extra Pale Ale, this is the one that started it all. Our first brew was introduced in 1989 in Golden Gate style kegs. We have stayed true to our beginnings and still brew it the way we did back then. A bright golden hued ale with a medium body and a crisp spicy /floral hop character and very mild bitterness. This unfiltered ale has a pleasing mouth feel and remains our most popular brew. This beer goes with everything and every occasion.

Such a fun smell and taste, with strong citrus taste and odor from the hops. I have only had the bottled variety, and would love to try it on tap. Great in the summer, after mowing the lawn or sitting by the ocean. I have to be carefull that I don’t drink too many of these, because I don’t pay attention.

So hoppy that I actually enjoyed it. I hate IPAs, and I tend to dislike EPAs, but this was extraordinary. The taste and smell were very fascinating. The aftertaste makes the beer a must have! Try it out.

Nice light hop aroma. Very drinkable. A bit of hops throughout but never overpowering; very fresh. I found all four of these Steelhead beers quite enjoyable. Now, if we can only get them to drop the price from 8.99 a sixer.

It’s a cloudy, light amber/orangey/yellowish color. Very nice smell, little hop notes, bitter/floral aroma. Very smooth, light hoppy taste. Very nice taste!
