Hank1980 (289), Athens, Georgia, USA Jul 6, 2008 Pours gold with a creamy head. Nose of light fruit, grain, citus. Taste is also lightly hoppy, lightly malted, and a little bitter. Finish is lightly bitter. Mouth is medium bodied. Overall, a decent session brew. dwyerpg (1977), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Jul 3, 2008 Nice light hop aroma. Very drinkable. A bit of hops throughout but never overpowering; very fresh. I found all four of these Steelhead beers quite enjoyable. Now, if we can only get them to drop the price from 8.99 a sixer. blindeyedbetty (88), Arlington, Virginia, USA Jun 29, 2008 12 oz. bottle pours a urine-yellow gold with lots of head that leaves delicate lacing as it dissipates. Aroma is of roasted grains and citrus. Medium body. Front palate of citrus with malty middle and finish of mild hops. Easy to drink, easy to pair. Not the best or most complex beer but drinkable and versatile. nearbeer (1051), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jun 26, 2008 12 oz. hazy, burnt orange with a three finger creamy head that lasts. Aromas of peach, grain, resin, and slight citrus. Flavor is mild resin, grain, and has honey-lemongrass on the finish. Light-medium weight body starts smooth, but has a tendency to later foam up, and finishes dry. DeadGuyFrank (316), http://westchesterbeer.com, USA Jun 21, 2008 A light, refreshing, really refreshing spicy hop infused ale, perfect for lunch or dinner. A session beer worhty of praise.
