Aroma is roasted nut with smoky peat. That smoky peat translates to the flavor along with wet grass and anise. Pours a hazy very dark bronzeish brown color with a tiny floating particles. Thin head with average head retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel, light roast, coffee and chocolate. Appearance: Dark brown in color, Clear with a light head.
Flavor: Dark roasty malt the peat and smoke flavor added where very nice.
Palate: Dry Finish, with a Great Mouthfeel.
Overall: Tasty porter for a nice night with a fire.

Some vanilla aroma. Beige head. Black and fruity with some alcohol present. A little dryness in a crisp and hoppy roast finish.
