The local place I usually go for New River Pale ale was out of that since those ding dongs in Old Dominion stopped brewing it. So I looked for something else on tap. Miller ... Bud .... Pyramid Hefe ... and this stuff, so I had one of these with lunch (BBQ brisket). Well, it was better than the other beers that they had on tap, but thats all. Not a fan of the flavor and not sure what was going on in the glass. I had no idea there are supposed to be apricots in here, the taste was less obvious to me than Aprihop. Not defective but I won’t be ordering this again.

does not count  Jan 7, 2009 On-tap at the Mews Tavern. No tthe first time I have had this beer and I continue to like it.
Color is pale orange/yellow and carbonation/bubbles are very inviting.
Smells of fresh apricots, though not overpoering
Taste is malty, fruity and sweet. Apricots are very present, but the backbone of the beer is not overmatched. Mild fruitiness and medium carbonation enables this beer to be highly sessionable.

does not count Dec 30, 2008 The best thing about this brew is it’s color. Pretty hard pour into a tulip glass and not much of a head and what was there didn’t last. Thin mouthfeel, flavor and aroma of apricots, which i didn’t particularly like. Not enough hops for my taste

Dec 29, 2008 Light golden with thin head. Apricot nose that I confused with peach at first. Somewhat thin mouthfeel with little bitterness. Quite drinkable, but boring. Your mother-in-law might like this beer.

does not count Dec 26, 2008 the apricot flavor is perfect! not overwhelming, but more than subtle. great level of hops. a little bit thin and watery, but thats the only downfall i can think of.
