I had this once a while back before I liked IPA's. Beautiful amber color, decent head. Aroma is hoppy and spicy. Very malty flavor. Doesn't have the bitter bite of hops I expect in an IPA. Maybe my sample wasn't cold enough or something. Got the rest of a sixer left, so I'll see if it changes.
Update: Definately hoppier this time. Not really sweet and hoppy, more bitter. Very good, actually. Very nicely balanced. There was definately something wrong with the first sample.

Dec 25, 2008 Bottle. Pours an amber body with a white head. Big grassy floral notes up front, with a light spiciness. Light citrus and bready grain backbone with some malt.

Nov 20, 2008 Heard this one is on the way out so I figured I had better give a try before it is no more.
Pours a slightly hazy golden color with about a finger’s worth of white head.
Smell is definitely of citrusy hops.
Taste is more of the same with some floral undertones. Nothing too deep and complex. A bit watery with not too much substance to it.
The feel is crisp and tingly, rather nice.
This is an alright brew. I usually am not big on drinking beer with food, but I don’t think I would have this any other way. Nothing outstanding but it was worth trying. Definitely not as strong and full of character as others of the style.

Jul 15, 2008 Copper pour decent head that leaves a nice lace behind. Piney aroma. Malty sweet up front with a cascade hop finish. Good, but a far cry from some others I’ve had
