yobdoog (1021), Woodridge NY, New York, USA Apr 8, 2009 Dry hopped? Not sure where all the hops went here. More caramel malts and some faint hops. Just always has that old taste. ben4321 (562), Rockville, Maryland, USA Mar 8, 2009 Updated: Mar 9, 2009Aug ’08
Flavor: Light sweetness, some malts
Palate: Light body, not much of a finish, dry
Overall Impression:
Pretty bland, not offering too much to get excited about. kidrobot (61), Sparta, New Jersey, USA Jan 2, 2009 One of my fav beers ever. Very disapointed that it was retired. Great bite and nice alcohol content. Rciesla (2800), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA Dec 25, 2008 Bottle. haha wow this is retired i didnt even know. Pours an amber body with an off white head. Sweet simple and malty caramel with a light grassy hoppy signature MH trademark. Eh. bsm80 (131), Massapequa, USA Sep 6, 2008 Refreshing, hoppy, slightly fruity taste, nice aftertaste. This is a good beer for a summer day. EithCubes (2037), Indiana, USA Aug 12, 2008 Bottle - appreciate the subtle artwork. Dusty malty nose, a bit of grass and dark caramel, funky hops but not in spades. Hazy amber pour with a soapy tan head. Taste is very dry, slightly dusty and a bit dirty, some caramel and earth. Lasting hoppy dryness long after. Not very crisp, but still somewhat sharp. Chalky citrus, lightish medium body. The taste is somewhat lacking here, but the feel is absolutely superb - really feels like it’s cleaning out the mouth, implores you to have four or five more. Moderately refreshing, would have again. darn1207 (467), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Jul 8, 2008 12oz bottle from random store in manhattan. copper yellow pour. off white head. yeasty and light hop aroma. caramel and malt flavors. moderate sweetness. light bodied. fairly bland. K-5.5 Underhook (162), Lincoln Park, New Jersey, USA Jun 27, 2008 Updated: Jun 29, 2008Says they’re retired, but they’re still available here for now. Pours flat brown. A hoppy aroma that is relatively weak. Taste is that of a standard pale ale, but a bit hoppy. Hops don’t seem forced. Smooth drink. Pretty average, take or leave beer.
