Pours a nice golden with a nice head, and has an ok aroma, not great though. Standard taste nothing that stands out. I love Magic hat but would not recommend this one. jimbowood (950), Athens, Georgia, USA

Aroma pleasanty malty with some sweetness. Good lacing. Mouthfeel OK, fairly dry, a little thin. Tastes subdued - malty, bready, overlain by bitterness. A bit of a strange taste in finish I’m unable to identify or describe. Fair. MacDaddyOJake (274), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 9, 2006 Coppery color with a white head that diminished quickly, little lacing. Bubbly as it sat in the glass. Nice "beer" aroma, but nothing really stood out in the aroma. Hops were very prevalent in the flavor, a little malt at first though. An element of some kind of tea is also in the flavor. Rather thin bodied, but the hops gave it a very refreshing and crisp taste that I enjoyed. Not bad at all, I would see this as a great beer to drink sitting by the pool or lake on a hot summer afternoon. Cletus (5052), Connecticut, USA

href=http://www.ratebeer.com/ViewUser.asp?U target=blank>richlikebeer, thanks Rich. Copper in colour, white dissipating head that left a ring around the glass, some lace. The aroma was of floral and citrus hops, pine and caramel malts. The flavour was a little peppery, some caramel, light floral hops. Spicy mouthfeel, light body, medium carbonation. Finishes was a light bitterness, mid length. BillKismet (1903), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 28, 2005 Hazy yellow orange with an aroma of wet cardboard that bespoke oxidation damage. Soapy hop flavor--not sure if due to perhaps oxidation, imbalanced mineral content, etc. Much prefer APA’s. Birdiebeagle (783), Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA
