Not my favorite Magic Hat... Pours a nice golden with a nice head, and has an ok aroma, not great though. Standard taste nothing that stands out. I love Magic hat but would not recommend this one.

Bottle. Pours golden brown with a small white head. Taste of metallic and styrofoam. Not good. Only drank half.

(Bottle, best before 2/06) Pours medium amber with a frothy biscuit head. Aroma pleasanty malty with some sweetness. Good lacing. Mouthfeel OK, fairly dry, a little thin. Tastes subdued - malty, bready, overlain by bitterness. A bit of a strange taste in finish I’m unable to identify or describe. Fair.

Coppery color with a white head that diminished quickly, little lacing. Bubbly as it sat in the glass. Nice "beer" aroma, but nothing really stood out in the aroma. Hops were very prevalent in the flavor, a little malt at first though. An element of some kind of tea is also in the flavor. Rather thin bodied, but the hops gave it a very refreshing and crisp taste that I enjoyed. Not bad at all, I would see this as a great beer to drink sitting by the pool or lake on a hot summer afternoon.

Pours gold with a thin white head. Smells moderately hoppy with some tea like qualities. Taste is grassy with some English tea thrown in.

Bottle obtained in a trade with <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/ViewUser.asp?UserID=16372 target=blank>richlikebeer, thanks Rich. Copper in colour, white dissipating head that left a ring around the glass, some lace. The aroma was of floral and citrus hops, pine and caramel malts. The flavour was a little peppery, some caramel, light floral hops. Spicy mouthfeel, light body, medium carbonation. Finishes was a light bitterness, mid length.

Hazy yellow orange with an aroma of wet cardboard that bespoke oxidation damage. Soapy hop flavor--not sure if due to perhaps oxidation, imbalanced mineral content, etc. Much prefer APA’s.

12 oz bottle Pours a cloudy amber golden, with a frothy off white head. Good lacing. Not much aroma, a lttle lemon citrus and a hint of carmel.Taste was a little acidic with some bitterness. Nice aftertaste. Not bad.
