MullMan (1080), Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA Aug 29, 2005 on tap at Angus McIndoe, NYC. yellow copper color with a creamy tan head. aroma is dried apricot/stone fruits and grassy. flavor is sour hop, dried apricot tanginess, and faint caramel malt. Hazmatt (363), Virginia, USA Aug 28, 2005 Updated: Sep 9, 2005Bottle. Off white head. Yeasty aroma. Smooth and light malt taste, with a somewhat dry finish. Have to appreciate the poetry on the Magic Hat labels. Apellonious (53), USA Aug 24, 2005 bottle - pours a golden brown red, thin head. Hoppy fruity aroma. As with most ales, it is better when it warms and the tastes come out more. Not my favorite from Magic Hat, but rarely do they make a beer that is below average, most are great The "mouthfeel" is slightly harsh and thin at first, but, again, smoothes out and fills upwhen it warms. Yes, I said "mouthfeel". Can be a session beer. Worth trying a six. Kinz (2179), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA Aug 24, 2005 Wow. How uninspiring. Medium amber, slight head fades entirely. Bready biscuit aroma, light hops as well. Flavor matched, hops providing only a faint floral and citric note. Harsh on the tongue as well. Not particularly good. leitrim65 (398), Seattle, Washington, USA Aug 22, 2005 Copper color with a small white head. Fruity sweetness in the nose with notes of pears, apples, and caramel. Light bodied but fairly smooth. Caramel and malt flavors that gives way to a mildly harsh earthy hop finish. An average beer that dissappoints in the finish. mephisto (1144), Taiwan Aug 19, 2005 reddish copper w/ quickly disappearing head. sweet aroma of fruits. hugely disappointing flavor and texture. no hops? thin & unmemorable. Ron (1000), Rochester, New York, USA Aug 9, 2005 Had this at Flour City Brew Fest. Poured a good head. Nothing special, just your average hoppy beer. BT (85), Newtown, Connecticut, USA Aug 8, 2005 12 oz. bottle. nothing special poured out of this one, certainly no angel! Thin, grassy, some malt, not much, rather bland.
