| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 3, 2005 Pours a medium clear amber with a small head that disappears quickly. Picked up a little roastiness in the aroma as well as a sweetness I could not quite pinpoint (maybe a bit of toffee). A light hop taste at the front of the flavor with some malts at the end. I enjoyed this one, sort of along the lines of #9 without the apricot. A solid easy drinking beer. jasonp (1509), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 31, 2005 Clear amber with a medium off-white head. Caramel and floral hops in the nose. Flavor has notes of caramel, toffee and toasted malt with some light hop bitterness in the finish. Moderately sweet. Medium/light body with a smooth texture and moderate carbonation. Decent head retention. Solid, but nothing to seek out. theacelatrain (262), Washington DC, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jul 29, 2005 Bottle. Medium amber color with little head. Sweet and buttery, but weak, nose. Smooth, light malty flavor with some brown sugar or toffee at first, with a barely dry back end. Unfortunately it was served cold, so could use a re-rate. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 29, 2005 Cloudy goldish, smallish head. Weak aroma, some ringwoody notes of buttered caramel. Touches of spicy hop. Flavor gets more spicy hop notes, slightly cleaner than the aroma. Clean, mild finish. tbookman (618), Ephrata, Pennsylvania, USA
