Dorwart (1807), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA Apr 24, 2005 Thin head. Decent carbonation. Biscuity, bread aroma. Bit of corn and rice also. Light malts. Medium golden orange in color. Light flavor with a little bit of fruit. More malts and a bit of bitternes and hops. KInd of watered down. FInish is a little bitter but pretty clean. An ok brew but nothing special paul9639 (116), New Hampshire, USA Apr 22, 2005 thin head. light amber color. the flavor makes me think of a great beer, with water added npdempse (931), St. Petersburg, Florida, USA Apr 22, 2005 Clear copper, fizzling white head. Sweet metallic nose with some grassy hops. Fruity, weird black current flavor over mustiness. Bitter finish, odd metallic notes. wunderbier (1264), Tampere, Finland Apr 18, 2005 Sampled at brewnopia. Same strange base malt/yeast combination that I notice in many of their beers. Very fruity nose...peaches, floral. Light copper body. Lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter flavor becomes a moderately acidic, moderately bitter finish. Medium-light body, watery texture, lively carbonation. The bottom line is: Meh...this is where I decided to stop rating. goldtwins (4079), Nesconset, New York, USA Mar 31, 2005 Poured a clear amber with a thin white head. Big butterscotch/diacetyl aroma. Some caramel underneath. Too bad this wasn’t an ice cream sundae. Butterscotch in the flavor as well with a light bitter finish. Thin body. johnyvt (157), West Hollywood, California, USA Mar 28, 2005 Different for a PA in that it’s not so bitter. Bread (a little of that signature MH taste) and lemons seem to be the major flavors. Maltiness makes it sweet. Light body. JFURYCAT (782), East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 28, 2005 This beer had an amber coppery color and a somewhat fruity/hoppy aroma. It isn’t as bitter as other Pale Ales and I get a slight sugary bubblegum taste to it, though not as sugary as the other Magic Hat beers. It is very drinkable-there isn’t much hint of an aftertaste and I think this is where the "smooth harmony" kicks in. It doesn’t pour very well, kind of bubbly. It is not as interesting as Magic Hat’s other beers which tend to pack a lot of ingredients together-this is more watery. skisangelo (60), Collingswood, New Jersey, USA Mar 28, 2005 Poured up cloudy and was deep honey in color. Foam faded fast. Crisp hop aroma. Hop flavor is evident but is smooth, not bitter. Crisp and light, makes for a great session beer.
