Commercial Description:
Fat Angel brings divergent tastes together to create a satisfyingly smooth harmony. Dry hopped for eminent drinkability, This beer offers a complex palate that balances the rich pleasures of malt with the crisp, refreshing flavor of hops. Fat angel is the ale of universal reconciliation, brewed in an ambiguous world for those seeking answers in the age of confusion.

Another one of their standard pale ales. Not a bad beer, but very similar to their others. This seems to be a starting point for their other beers. Decent in many ways, but not something for everyday. It is, however, ubiquitous and a good starter beer for the unadventurous.

This one was more adventurous in delivery, with overtones of complex hops providing somewhat of an unbalanced experience. Offers plenty of flavors, but I cannot attest that the harmony of these tastes go well with one another. Seemed almost too ambitious, perhaps it’s the style of English Pale Ales, I am not really accustomed to having these on a regular basis, so I do not have any true basis for comparison. In the end, it’s an okay brew.

Is it me or are all the Magic Hat beers the same? They have about 10 different pale ales. Not a bad beer but... I mean it’s pretty much the same as the other stuff. I’d like to see something really unique from Magic Hat... in their regular rotation. Seems like everything that isn’t boring is seasonal.

Copper color with a thick white head. Strong aroma of malt, with light hops. Powerfull flavor of malt, bitter finish. Light to medium body, oily texture, medium carbonation. It’s a nice pale ale that is more on the malt side and it’s ok with me, vive la différence !

Smells malty and fresh. Pours clear light brown with almost no head. Tastes malty with nice hop kick at end. Very smooth and nice. Doesn’t really taste that bitter until the end which is nice. It is only a 46 but I like it.

Decent pale ale, yeast added some fruity complexities, decent hops and malt. Need to provide better notes,.

My dad used to get this all the time. So maybe I’m a little biased. Its pretty good as a session beer, though its not as good as some of the other magic hat offerings. Given the choice I’ll take humble patience.
