Apr 19, 2004 Updated: Apr 22, 2004From a bottle. The beer's color was rich and promising, and it drained with a pleasing constancy of residue in the glass. The taste? A bit on the off side, there is definitely that mysterious Magic Hat ingredient that is not quite apricot (perhaps apricot blended with something?), along with an only medium-hoppy feel. A good beer well-served coming straight from its brown bottle, and has a nice aroma that goes straight to the nose. The bottle, however, is a little over the top in its artsiness this time (my apologies to the creator).

Mar 30, 2004 Pale orange color; no head at all; no lacing. Nice floral aroma. Flavor is good--a little malt up front, and not at all overhopped; pleasant. Typical mouthfeel. Decent stuff; good session beer, too.

Mar 3, 2004 cloudy golden color with a fluffy white head. Smells like oranges and bread. Taste a little citrusy with a yeast aftertaste.

Feb 20, 2004 Deep hazy orange copper with a thin white head, Slight butterscotch nose with some hops. Sweet malts, some hops, little citrus, but some green apples. Nice, but I had better from the Hat.

Feb 12, 2004 Not a bad frothy, cream colored head.I swear I smell cotton candy, apricots maybe?..Hazy amber. Lace down about a third of the glass. Some hops in there. Little bitter on the finish.
