ruffian (149), montvale, New Jersey, USA Jan 26, 2004 Must be that house yeast, very similar to the #9 but with more hops. Fruity contrasted by bitter in a little more red than pale ale. It has decent body, but the fruit does win out in the end. dprior (118), Somerville, Massachusetts, USA Jan 19, 2004 I'm just not impressed. It was too fruity tasting for me. I won't visit it again. Patik (11), New York, USA Jan 12, 2004 Nice orange color, interesting palate. A little bitter with a bit of an aftertaste. Overall a pleasant drink for one or two at a time. ToadMan (554), Washington, Washington DC, USA Jan 12, 2004 Ehh. Mildly hoppy flavor with some malty tones. Light citrus fruit hints. pivo (2535), Germany Jan 5, 2004 "Don't piddle where you fiddle". Dusty nose, orange color, frothy head. Taste like apricots with some hop spicyness. Decent, but not thrilling. SpringsLicker (2041), Tennessee, USA Jan 3, 2004 This honey colored beer was hard to pour a big head from. What there is, doesn't last long. Some hop with apricot aroma. Smooth light-medium body with a flavor that is well hopped, but not overly so, with a short dry finish. Nicely done alternative to the aggressivly hopped APA's. Spiesy (2333), Global Citizen, Greater London, England Jan 1, 2004 Draught at 11 Madison Park, New York. Golden colour with and attractive full-blown white head. Fruity aroma, grapefruit and apple. Had this in full black tie rig with Mikey on new years eve. Really enjoyed this little treat, particularly as it was part of and ebony / ivory tag team with ‘Turbodog’. YogiBeera (2437), Hamburg, Germany Dec 28, 2003 Kind of grapefruit nose. Orange with a little head. Hoppy apricot taste, dusty. "It's like a basement" said Bill.
