This beer was poured into a stein so i dont reaall know what the appearance is since there was such a huge head to it. There are som strong earth smells and some hints of something floral. As you sip it you taste a decent bitter sweet taste of malt.

Growler. Amber color, small head. Sweet, malty aroma. Flavor was very much the same, delicious. A bit underrated?

12oz bottle-pours a foamy light tan head and gold color. Aroma is faint medium malt-sweet, light hops-citrus. Taste is mild medium malt, secondary hops bitterness. Thin. Mild carbonation.

This one is great. Really nice aroma and perfect balance of hops and malt flavor. Something I wouldn’t mind having again.

I’m engrossed in the film, "American Beer" and had to have another pint, so I cracked open this Fat Angel. It poured a light amber with a thin but firm head of white foam. The aroma is of caramel candy ... almost apricot-like. The flavor is hard to pin down ... the undertow is definitely malty, but the overarching sense is the fruity, apricot jammy fun. What a fun beer. I want more. (#2708, 2/15/2007)
