Thanks to dberger624 for sending me the magic of the Magic Hat brew assortment!

Pours a sparkling copper body and a towering cream-colored head… sheets of lacing! The aroma is very floral. Favor bring some funkiness.. It’s like apricots, foot sweat, a woodsy hop or some sort… Oh, maybe it’s Willamette? … And a slightly toasty and beady caramel malt. I pick up some spruce, fruity plums, peaches, apples, and some rich compost dirt. A rather decent PA… Hey, Dan lives in PA.. !

i’m so unimpressed with these magic hat beers. this one failed to rouse my senses again. this is thin and weak. needs more bold hopping to be a pale ale. watery and metallic and uninteresting.

The aromas begin with notes of caramel and English aroma hops (Goldings perhaps?), then things de-volve with the introduction of some cider notes. It’s surprisingly thin bodied, with some flavors of caramel, mild fruit, and a slightly astringent quality. Unbalanced. Thanks to Luiere for the sample.

Overall, I felt that this beer was underhopped and uninteresting. Behind #9, probably the weakest offering from Magic Hat.

Decent hops, not bad malts, yet overall not that impressive. Decent, just decent

Nice color, decent head. Good little hop flavor, but very sweet with the malt. A little more balance between the two would be nice, but very easy drinking ale.

A pale golden with a white head and a caramel and citrusy aroma. Crisp flavor with a hoppishness that is light with some caramel sweetness and a dry finish.

Slightly hazy amber color with a fat head. Aroma is a bit leafy, some light malt and citrus. Flavor is some malt and citrus, but nothing to write home about. Mouthfeel is pretty good thoug, smooth and viscous, almost buttery.
