This beer rocks. Read the commercial description and then go buy a case. You’re just never going to get me to say anything negative about Magic Hat ales. In my book, they all rank very highly in their genres.

Some pears and some flower bitterness…Tiny hops gasping for air but slowly drowning…

Pours gold with a thin white head. Smells moderately hoppy with some tea like qualities. Taste is grassy with some English tea thrown in.

12 oz bottle. Cloudy golden beer. Very sweet and wheaty aroma. Some spiciness and a bit leathery as well. Flavour is watery and thin. Light diacetyl. Some light fruit toward the finish. I’ll have to try this again as I’m not sure about this bottle.

Slightly hazy medium dark orange colored body with a toast-tan colored head. Light grassy hops in the nose, mild cannibus and caramelized orange scents. Texture is lighter than expected, and lighter than it should be for the style as far as what I like. Mild tasting overall, with some light grassy hop note and mild sweetness from the maple flavored malts. Overall it’s about average for pale ales, nothing exceptional but still drinkable.

Bottled. Golden coloured. Unclear. Light beige head. Herbal and flowery aroma. Has some vague pine and citrus. Flavour of light spice, herbs and sweetness. Some caramel notable. Medium bodied. Light dry.Light bitter end. A bit dull and bland.

Dark golden to amber color with a smaller off white head. Real english nose, with some toffee and hopsack aromas. Light dry malt in the front with more sweet malt as it continues. Again some toffee and a touch of mild licorice and herb. A touch strong in the finish, but a rather pleasant english ale.

HAd on draft at Manayunk event. I liked this one somewhat better than the #9. Dark gold pour, with good head. Very hoppy aroma. TAstes hoppy, malty, with a very crisp, hoppy, somewhat creamy finish.
