Taste is floral hops overlaid on a light caramal malt background. Thin body. Nothing offensive here, just nothing special either. goz (359), Chelmsford, Massachusetts, USA

Nice grainy malt and subtle hop aroma. Flavor is very malt-forward, with a smooth palate and a nice little burst of hops in the finish. A nice, though somewhat light, take on the style. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 13, 2005 From bottle - pours out very clear light amber color. small-medium frothy white head that makes the beer look really delicious and tempting but then it dissipates quickly with only wet remnants, no lacing on the sides. not a very strong smell. pick up a little biy of sour grapes and floral components. It tastes like raisins and grapefruit and grass. thin body - clean on the palate. very light beer. light body. light carbonation. other comments suggest its underdone - I think its just subtle and good. burgerlicious (308), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jun 21, 2006 Fat Angel is a very good tap beer, so we were curious to see how it would hold up in the bottle. Result? Yea, we like it from the tap. Aromas are of grain malts and orange and lemony hops, with a moderate yeast scent. It pours an amber color with a murky appearance, with a small, fizzy dark brown head. Initial flavor is lightly sweet, finishing moderately acidic and bitter. Light to medium on the mouth, it is both dry and oily, although the dry doesn’t hit until after a little while. Fizzy carbonation and light alcoholic tinge. A malty beer.
