| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 4, 2002 Lackluster. Cascade hop aroma, with an odd funk which reminded me of wheat. Undercarbonated. Hazy light orange, white head, crappy label. Pretty boring, actually. puzzl (2648), New York, New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 8, 2005 A beautiful orange beer with a strong, delicious aroma of peach and strawberries. If only the flavor could hold over as well as the aroma! The beer itself is very thin and lacking in flavor until a grassy, overly sour citrus finish, with little aftertaste. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 26, 2005 Yellow color with a rocky white head that quickly dimishes with pretty decent lacing. Aroma of grain and a matching taste. 5000 (2625), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 25, 2005 Bottle: Amber, light haze, moderate to large foamy off-white head, quite nice lacing, no noticeable carbonation. Pale malt nose, sweet grass. Soft tart grassy flavor, not as sweet as suggested by the nose. Body and mouthfeel are average. Clean, very little hop profile, but then again this is an English Pale Ale. Not bad, average, but still enjoyable. Thanks Dan for the bottle!

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 31, 2005 Bottle from a Magic Hat sampler 12-pack split with blankboy, HogTownHarry and GregClow. Nice dark copper appearance but again, no head. Sale hops and malt in aroma. Well, it is almost a pale! Slightly hoppy taste, but again, quite stale. Watery and thin. Quenching, lingering bitterness. Not bad but pretty standard really - certainly the most mainstream beer from this sampler pack. 1FastSTi (2580), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 4, 2006 Thanks Dave. The beer pours to a coppery body with a foamy/fizzy off-white head. The aroma is mineral water, light English hops, some sort of chemical that reminds me of really old Xerox copies. The flavor is papery, boring malt and hops. The palate is medium-light bodied. Pretty middle of the road. Nate (2563), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Nov 16, 2005 Diacetyl, buttery. Light sweetness but airy and fleeting. Mild hops bitterness, but not much to go on, really. A little note of soapiness, too. Dull orange-amber clear, with thin white head. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Just a bit of carbonic burn. Starts with light-medium malt sweetness. A bit of diacetyl off taste followed by carbonic acidity and dull bitter notes. Hops are dead on this one, and the whole thing comes apart after a few sips. Just not that good an ale. Maybe it didn’t travel well or something before I bought it. Light bitter orange after with carbonic tang.
