Taste like apricots with some hop spicyness. Decent, but not thrilling. jgb9348 (2515), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 16, 2003 Thin looking beer with a light golden colour and a nice fluffy white head. A somewhat hoppy aroma, but just a mellow sweetness coming out of the glass. The taste is a good mix of malt and hops, but thats about it. The flavour lasts for about 3 seconds and fades away to nothing. I have disliked every Magic Hat beer i've ever had, and this one is no exception. Simply put...not a good beer by not a good brewery. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 30, 2005 Bottle from a Magic Hat sampler 12-pack split with blankboy, HogTownHarry and tupalev. Orange-copper colour with no head. Aroma and flavour both fit the profile of an average pale ale, although the aroma in particular seemed a bit stale. I think the finish, which was dry and pleasantly bitter, was my favourite part of this one. Otherwise, it wasn’t very exciting. OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA

A decent white head graces the top of this brew. A slight yeast flavor graces the piney hops that this one seems to feature. On the palate this is quite light and refreshing, but average at best.. Pours a clear, orangish-amber color; off-white head with decent lacing. Overripe dark fruits and a stale biscuity note in the aroma; an earthy hop character coming through as well. I had a hard time getting through much of this: medium mouthfeel that pretty much follows the aroma: overripe fruit and pretty unpleasant earthy and biscuity notes; average levels of carbonation, with a dustiness and a bubble gum note coming through mid-palate. A very strange beer, with an impressively inane commercial description. Medium, doughy and earthy malt finish; a slight English hop presence. YogiBeera (2437), Hamburg, Germany

Shiny copper orange, smallish head, but good lacing. Citrus floral hop aroma - enticing. Body is medium and smooth. Some sweet malts embraced by citrus orange peel and summer fruits. Increasingly reminds me of orange juice as I drain the glass. Another bottle from Trenton, NJ.
