Jan 12, 2004 Nice orange color, interesting palate. A little bitter with a bit of an aftertaste. Overall a pleasant drink for one or two at a time.

Jun 22, 2005 Updated: Jun 23, 2005This beer pours a lightly hazy copper with a diminishing white head. The nose is a musky maltiness with, perhaps, a bit of a floral hint. The upfront taste is laced with hints of apricots or peaches, but they quickly fade into a musky maltiness or yeastiness that is, sadly, reminiscent of New Belgium Fat Tire, Abita beers, or some of the Florida micros. This beer does the musky thing much better. The trail has a medium bitterness on the back of the tongue. The mouthfeel is purely medium. Overall, this is far from bad, but it doesn’t stand out much at all, except that a noticable peach flavor is pretty uncommon.

Nov 24, 2004 A hoppy pale ale, akin to an IPA. Carbonation on the aggressive tongue tingle side. Malty nominally satisfying aftertaste. British style. Bit of bitterness. Orange citrus and peach flavors from the hops.

Oct 1, 2004 Smells malty and fresh. Pours clear light brown with almost no head. Tastes malty with nice hop kick at end. Very smooth and nice. Doesn’t really taste that bitter until the end which is nice. It is only a 46 but I like it.

Mar 15, 2005 Updated: Mar 16, 2005Malty, toffee, sweet. Reminds me quite a bit of Bass Ale, but a bit heavier on the malt. The palate has a lot goin’ on (including a "cidery" quality), but it strikes me as a bit unbalanced, as I’d like to taste a bit more hops to level out the rather heavy malt flavor. Not a bad brew by any means; and I wouldn’t turn it down if offered to me again. Not sure I’d seek it out though.

Dec 20, 2005 Pours hazy golden. Hoppy- bitter, and grassy tasting. Not bad, but not great, either. Slight metallic aftertaste.
