Commercial Description:
Fat Angel brings divergent tastes together to create a satisfyingly smooth harmony. Dry hopped for eminent drinkability, This beer offers a complex palate that balances the rich pleasures of malt with the crisp, refreshing flavor of hops. Fat angel is the ale of universal reconciliation, brewed in an ambiguous world for those seeking answers in the age of confusion.

Bright copper pour, with impressive lacework - light but inviting aroma of citrus, mild hops and a hint of caramel - flavor is unspectacular but well-balanced - light hops up front, followed by some biscuity malts, which then lead to a slight bitter apricot flavor - medium-dry finish doesn’t leave much behind for you to remember the beer by - much better than I remember it being (I tried it once before I began rating beer), but I think I’ll pass on this in the future.

Sampled @ brewery. Light gold color with a light crispy start. Medium foamy head with light malt taste. Light caramel finish. Not their best work.

bottle - pours a golden brown red, thin head. Hoppy fruity aroma. As with most ales, it is better when it warms and the tastes come out more. Not my favorite from Magic Hat, but rarely do they make a beer that is below average, most are great The "mouthfeel" is slightly harsh and thin at first, but, again, smoothes out and fills upwhen it warms. Yes, I said "mouthfeel". Can be a session beer. Worth trying a six.

My dad used to get this all the time. So maybe I’m a little biased. Its pretty good as a session beer, though its not as good as some of the other magic hat offerings. Given the choice I’ll take humble patience.

12 oz bottle - Thanks Firemoose15 for the trade!! Pours amber and transparent. A decent white head graces the top of this brew. A slight yeast flavor graces the piney hops that this one seems to feature. On the palate this is quite light and refreshing, but average at best..

12 oz bottle pours orange with a white head. Malty nose, grainy, some floral notes. Similar flavors, muted hops, carmel, pears, and apple. Crisp finish. Nothing fantabulous, but not bad for what I was looking for.

Very smooth with an interesting light color.... very refreshing ice cold. A nice pale ale that is almost too easily consumable.

Refreshing, hoppy, slightly fruity taste, nice aftertaste. This is a good beer for a summer day.
