Result? Yea, we like it from the tap. Aromas are of grain malts and orange and lemony hops, with a moderate yeast scent. It pours an amber color with a murky appearance, with a small, fizzy dark brown head. Initial flavor is lightly sweet, finishing moderately acidic and bitter. Light to medium on the mouth, it is both dry and oily, although the dry doesn’t hit until after a little while. Fizzy carbonation and light alcoholic tinge. A malty beer. waolsen (1223), Littleton, Colorado, USA

There are som strong earth smells and some hints of something floral. As you sip it you taste a decent bitter sweet taste of malt. Tippie4 (97), Auburn, Maine, USA

The aroma is hard to find with grains, malt, a hint of pine and slight fruity esters being present. The carbonation is light and tingling. Flavor-wise its heavily grainy and grassy with a thin dry cardboardy finish. Unappealing finish, leaning neither way in terms of being bad or good. Very thin body, light and sweet...absolutely little in the way or surprise or taste here aside from a slight malty fruity body and light sweet and dry finish. Boooorrrrriiiinnngggg. Palateable if I’m thirsty but nothing more than a light session beer. MIBRomeo (1965), Wisconsin, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Apr 4, 2006 Pours a cloudy burnt orange color w/ a tall small bubbled white head. Aroma nearly non existant, some really light plant aroma, and something else that isn’t really there. Palate is fizzy and light. Flavor is very dry on the tongue very plain nothing that stands out.. boring. CJfromPhilly (83), Aston, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 28, 2006 Pours a copper color with a one finger head that settles down into a medium collar that clings to the sides of the glass. Aroma is of piney/grapefriuty hops. Taste is dry, piney & grassy. Very little or no malt presence and the mouthfeel is disappointingly thin. It reminds me of a weak SNPA clone. This one did not meet my expectations at all.
