Commercial Description:
Earthy, rich and steeped in autumn’s magic: it’s an ale of change. This potent infusion is haunted by memories of summer and the first frost on abandoned fields. Jinx prepares the bones for snow. It has the glint of golden maples at peak and finishes light as an ode to the fading sun. A bit of peat-smoked malt imparts a subtle hint of smoke that reminds us of fall’s bonfires. Available in the Fall.

Pour is amber with small tan head...smell is fruity and sweet caramel...taste is sweet with apple and pears and a hint of smoke...finish is quick...this one is tasty!

Copper colored beer that is deceptively sweet. Pours to an almost nonexisting head. Smells of malt and a hint of sugar. Nice beginning but not a fan of the aftertaste. An average beer at best.

I didn’t find any of the "smoke" aroma that this brew was supposed to have, just a medium malt smell with some sweet tones that I couldn’t nail down. Nice dark brown tones in the color, but virtually no head at all. Taste is very smokey, and the aftertaste resembles a cigarette. What doesn’t taste like smoke is a sweet, malty flavor, but the smoke concept just kills everything elst.

Pours deep amber. Small head with little lacing. Aromas of malt and slight spice hiding the wisps of smokiness. A bit to carbonated and thin, would be nice with a bit more body to it.

Smoked? Not what I had. Vaguely hazy copper. Sweet, vaguely spicy nose with something unpleasant there. Starts very sweet, then gets quite bitter. First swallow gives hints that it is going to be a tripel, but instead of spice it’s really bitter.

I am not 100% sure that the beer that the waitrees swore was this beer actually is. Amber body. Huge sweet aroma, almost like corn syrup. The flavor is also hugely sweet with light bitterness. Syrupy medium body. What the hell is this? Me and my cohorts guessed a failed tripel and here I see that it is a Smoked beer. Whatever.

Pours a medium red with a small head. Sweet on the nose, a little cherry flavor in there. Mostly tastes like roasted coffee and a little smoked wood. Malty, hops undetectable.

Clear amber color out of the bottle with almost no head. Nose of sweet malt and alcohol. Flavors of toffee, caramel, burnt sugar and smoke. A very sweet beer and a little thin, but okay.
