Bottle. Pours clear orange, big off white head. Aroma is hoppy: kiwi, tangerine, lots of leafy bitterness. Flavor is hoppy, but lacks a good floral or citrus element. The body is a tad thin and the aftertaste is malty and slightly plastic. There is a nice lingering bitterness though. Not bad, but not strong.

Jan 4, 2009 Thanks to jah noth for the bottle. Pours a semi cloudy orange amber with a big off white head. Good retention, awesome lacing. Aromas of citrus, pine, resin, caramel malt and some cereal. Flavors are a nice balance between the hops and malt. Also some citrus, and caramel. Decent lasting bitter finish.

Jan 3, 2009 Time for Magic hat to reconsider what direction they want this company to go. This is hardly a pale ale let alone an IPA. Caramel, corn and grassy hops. Watery and struggling with mediocrity

Pours a slightly hazy bronze color with a medium head. Decent
head retention and lacing. Very fruity hop aroma, especially
grapefruit and green apple. Taste is very bitter with grapefruit
and other hop notes as well as a hint of toffee. Medium bodied.

Dec 29, 2008 This beer really got me thinking about how pathetic it is that a company’s image can be dedicated to individuality while the actual substance that they sell is so mainstream and bland. This is a very clear orange beer with a touch of white head. Earthy and grassy hop aroma. Caramel and flowery hops in the taste. Very watery and very bland.
