Mostly citrus in the aroma with some faint hops in the background. Initial flavor is a hoppy bite before fading to a maltier finish. Bitter lingering taste. Soft carbonation with a dry texture. Nothing special.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 14, 2009 This IPA poured a slightly cloudy, light orange colour with a nice big frothy, white head. To the nose there are scents of orange and pineapple citrus, citrus and more citrus. First taste was smooth with a nice mellow hopp flavour. Flavours include tea and citrus. Finish is hoppy with a little bitter flavours lingering. MrRain (433), O’Fallon, Illinois, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 11, 2009 12oz bottle poured into an English pint. Lucky Kat pours slightly hazy and bronze-colored with a nice, if small, rocky head. The nose is pretty typical for an IPA, mostly consisting of hop resin. The body is a tad watery and the taste is a bit commercial. This is not a very good IPA as far as it goes but it’s an easy-to-drink beer. The finish is quick and uninspired. taphandle (22), Texas, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 8, 2009 Part of a variety pack. The nose had a toasty or malty hint to it and the head was off-white and didn’t last long, despite a vigorous pour. The appearance looked fine and I debated on rating it a 4. The bitterness doesn’t seem as strong as other IPAs, leading me to check the expiration date which was 3 months in the future. It’s a decent IPA, though I wouldn’t make special efforts to find it in a store. HonkeyBra (1350), Lemont, Illinois, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 4, 2009 Red-orange pour with thin white head. Aroma of citrus, resiny hops and some caramel malt. Flavor is a bit hoppy, a bit malty, balanced, kind of a caramel note with a bit piney in the finish. Nice mouthfeel with good carbonation. An Ok ipa. hayduke (1659), Eureka, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 3, 2009 From a 12 oz bottle this poured a cloudy orange color with a small white head that dissipated fairly rapidly. Nose of caramel malts and citrus and floral hops., and some additional aromas of coriander and pine. Medium mouthfeel. The flavor is unusual, with some spices and maybe the hops creating an odd bitterness that carries over into the dry finish. ansermadide (516), Kyle, Texas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 3, 2009 Thick amber color with a reddish hue. Fluffy off white head... Frothy (excellent pour). Bubbly, sticky lacing. Malt aroma with light hops. Bitter hop flavor, bitter finish. Tip-of-the-tongue watering in the finish as well, perhaps from a hidden sweetness. Grassy flavor comes out as the drink warms up. Good, would be great with just a little more hops. radioseer (57), Virginia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 2, 2009 (12 ounce bottle - pint glass) Pours a almost opaque golden brown liquid, with a decent head that leads to a good lacing. Aroma is a balance of hop and malt, mostly a bland generic hop in the nose. Taste has drinkability. Taste is a citrus hop taste with a light bready malt balance. Has a frothy texture. Worth a try. tzakiel (49), Virginia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 1, 2009 Hoppy. Not bad at all... but not the best hoppy beer I’ve tasted. I’ll have to try it again and re-rate, it’s been a while.
