Fragrance contains hints of a floral scent, and something sweet (caramel?). Taste is incredibly smooth, if not a bit too light. All and all, not too bad. I usually pick a case up when it’s available and am pleased. GonZoBeeR (2163), ste-Eulalie, Quebec, Canada

I don’t know what rock I’ve been under, but according to the back label of this 22 oz. bottle, corporate ski lifts are a huge menace in Vermont, and Magic Hat has come to the rescue, it seems.
Color is cloudy golden, with a small, but firm white head.
Nose: fresh and fruity, soft and citrusy, but a faint whiff of spice.
The actual ale, however, had little impact on me and my taste buds. Light hops, light malt, light everything, really, although not altogether lacking in taste. Drinks down real nice, too, so that wasn’t a problem. I geuss I was looking for something special that I just did not find.
But the next time I see one of those corporate ski lift baddies, I’ll sock ’em in the nose!

Aroma is malt, butterscotch and yeast. Taste is slightly hoppy but clean. Finishes strong. Nice tasting for what it is. GeniusGirl (221), Boston, Massachusetts, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 15, 2004 This looks like your average American Pilsner. Golden color, whte puffy head.
Slight hop aroma.
The flavor is slightly sweet with just a touch of hops. Light almost watery body.
Nothing really great here. beaconstreet (811), Washington DC, USA

Pungent, and very much with ale bite, but light tasting at the same time. Easily drank, a good round overall. Kind of a translucent appearance. You’re not getting the general Magic Hat fruitiness you get with other of their beers.
