Magnolia Antwerps Placebo

On tap at Alembic in SF. Clear reddish color with an off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, dark fruits, and Belgian yeast. Flavor is sweet malt, dark fruits, and spices. Medium-bodied and smooth. Good stuff overall, one of the best I’ve had from Magnolia.

Draft. bronze beer with a light tan head. Malt and light dark fruit aroma. Caramel, malt, and light spice flavor with light dark fruits. Medium bodied. Somewhat refreshing. Light frutiiness lingers with rich malt.

On tap at Magnolia poured a clear reddish brown with a lasting tan head. Aromas of dark fruit, toffee, spices and light wood. Palate was medium bodied and smooth but crisp around the edges. Flavors of spice, toffee, dark fruit and a hint of wood with a smooth lightly dry lingering spiced finish.
