Starts dry with light malt flavor; slight green tea/vegetal mushroom flavors; perfumy hop flavor. Medium length finish with light malt fade with light lingering hop bitterness. Good drinkable beer but on the watery side.

Jul 25, 2009 From tap at the brewpub. Pours almost clear and golden deep amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is roasted malty with a light hoppy accent coming through. Mild acidic hops fruity flavoured. Fruity and light bitter together with a light roasted malt flavour into the finish.

Jul 16, 2009 Draught at the brewpub. Copper color with a lacy white head. Crackery malt, caramel, and spicy hops in the aroma. The malt is toasty and nutty with some cracker, topped with some spicy and lightly bitter hops. The finish is dry and the body is light. Feels like an American brewed it, but nice English hop and malt flavors.

Apr 14, 2009 Tap at the brewpub: Deep copper pour with an off white ring of head. Herbal British hops in the nose- light lemon peel and biscuit. A touch over carbonated. Nice biscuity malt base (feels British) with an herbal hops flavor (fuggle). Mildly bitter and surprisingly clean. A decent interpretation.
