Magnolia Eight

Writing fro my notes - Dark yellow with an amber hue Low malt aroma with some floral hop aroma Flavor: Noticeable malt presence with a spicy hop flavor. Some diacetyl as the beer warms up palate: clean, crisp and light bodied Overall: A good session beer my quibbles are the diacetyl and that the anniversary beer is not distinguishing itself from the others

On tap, at the brewpub. Dark yellow/light brown, very small white head. Nice mild buttery/butterscotch aroma. Decent fruity taste with a heavy nutty finish. Flavourful. A little light in body but I think that is what they were going for here. Well crafted, wish I could have made a session out of pints of these alone.
