Sierra Nevada Pale Ale... I would just leave it at that but I am required to add more characters. Seriously everything you know about SNPA: aroma, flavor, color, body, etc..., you can drink it right here at Magnolia.

Sampled at Magnolia, June 2007. Clear bronze with a short, lasting head. Pleasant herbal hop nose of cascades and a whiff of iced tea. Caramel, toffee, tea, cascade hops and grapefruit. Medium bodied, smooth -lightly carbonated (on cask).

Had this beer at GABF on 10/2/1999. Aroma is a mild hop scent. Color is a medium brown. Has a good malt body but finishes a bit too bitter and almost no hop flavor. Not a very good Pale Ale but its ok to drink.

(06.21.07) On tap at Magnolia Pub and Brewery. 5.1% ABV. Hazy amber ale with small white head. Light citrus aroma. Small carbonation. Starts dry with citrus grapefruit hop flavors. Medium finish with light lingering hop bitterness. Slightly thin and watery side otherwise, a nice hoppy beer without aggressive bitterness. Goes well with a Cuban sandwich. One of the better offerings at Magnolia.

tap. A fairly good pale ale, flavors of hops, grapefruits and some malts, fairly mellow. Goes well with some pizza at the pub, a good session beer but nothing special.
